Application Error when Windows XP reinstalled

I upgraded my computer hardware (motherboard and memory)
and had to reinstall Windows XP Home to correct drivers.
Office applications now will not open, giving an
Application Error popup. Anyone else have this problem?

If you installed Windows XP to a new location rather than over the top of
the original installation, then you will have to reinstall Office as all the
registry information has been lost.

include details of your application and Windows versions, and whether
or not you have included any service pack updates.
