Application Error

H

Hester

I had to do a system recovery on my computer and when I reinstalled Office
Pro 2003 I get an error. At the top it says WINWORD.EXE - Application Error.
It then states the error. The application failed to initialize properly
(0xc0150002). Click on OK to terminate the application. I have tried to open
the programs with files and without files and get the message. I go to school
and need these programs for my law briefs. Plus I use the programs for my
photography business. I need help fast. I am appaud that Microsoft charges
$35.00 to answer questions like this. It is rude and not supportive of their
software! Every little bit of money I have goes to pay for school and Lord
only knows the amount of money that Microsoft charges for their software to
begin with. I am really outraged at Microsoft wanting to charge me to help
with software problems!

1. You are appaud? You are in school? You write law briefs?
Astounding.

2. This is a peer-to-peer support forum where you can post
questions and fellow Office users will try to help you if they
can, but no one here OWES you an answer. Before you complain
about others being rude, look in the mirror...

3. You caused this so-called "software problem", so why
shouldn't Microsoft charge you to fix it for you?

4. See http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=822520 "You receive a
'The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0150002)'
error message when you start an Office 2003 program on a Windows
XP Professional-based computer".
