Application Error

Hello,

I have a problem when I work with excel:

"The instruction at "0x60626233" referenced memory at "0x00000000" could not
be created".

I reinstalled the product in other directory but still I have the same
problem.

I work with Windows 2000 and office 2000 SR1

This apparently is a "legacy" issue when something is undefined.
For sure it only happens on some old spread sheets I have, and it appears
harmless
It only happens when I open the spreadsheets concerned
The dialogue box appears entitle "Microsoft Visual Basic", "System Error
&H80070057"
You click OK and that is the last of it.
I would though like to get rid of it.
How can I find out exactly the cause and to try to fix?
There is a KB article on it, but I did not find it useful.
A reply ny email too would be useful if you know.

You may want to check your XLStart folder and remove whatever's there.

When is this error occurring? Are you using an alternate IME?
