We are using Outlook 2003 sp2 on Windows xp.
We have one user who insists on automatically printing all attachments (she
has that option checked). She's running into a problem when she encounters
messages with vcard attachments. Because they will not automatically print,
she typically clicks Cancel when she realizes that's what the attachment is.
This user does have a local printer, an HP 1100.
That's when she gets the error -Outlook has encountered an error and must
close. The event viewer recorded the following information:
Faulting application outlook.exe, version 11.0.8000.0, stamp 43599e06,
faulting module msvcrt.dll, version 7.0.2600.2180, stamp 41109752, debug? 0,
fault address 0x00037fd4.
Another recorded error starts with "Bucket 257863232, bucket table 1," then
has the same info as above.
I've tried replacing her email profile, having her select a network printer,
and logging in somewhere else - but she continues to get the error.
What could be causing this problem and how can we resolve it?
