Application Hang error remains after reinstallation...

Peter Häggmyr

I posted a question some weeks ago regarding a problem with "Application
Hang" error.

I got the tip to uninstall Office and install Office again. After that, we
still have problem.

The environment is set up like this:

One Windows 2003 Server running Terminal Server Services. The server is also
a Domain Controller. Office XP Professional is installed. The server is
upgraded from W2k server and Office was upgraded too, but now Office is
reinstalled.

Sometimes one of the clients freezes and after that al clients starts ton
hang. After restarting the server (the console hangs too) everything works
fine, until next hang.

In the Event Logs the only error message is "Application Hang" and which
application hanged, every time it is an office application, most frequently
WinWord, Access and Excel.
