Application.IsCompiled is false

Application.IsCompiled is false in an Access97 application after Office 2000
premium was installed. I am NOT trying to run both Access97 and Access2000. I
specified in the install that no Access2000 was to be installed.
I try recompiling the application and it appears to recompile fine but I
always get a false value when I test Application.IsCompiled.
The application SEEMS to run just fine otherwise.
This same .mdb works fine without the above problem when run on a machine
with Office 97 only.
Feels like some compatability problem with newer vba components? Where to
look?

This may not fit your reason, but I recall A97 was quite prone to compiles not
"sticking". (the compile button would not grey-out).

The answer was to Decompile/compile (and then compact).

This was(remains) a very common occurrence (for A97).

Other than that, your description suggests some referenced dll changed (for
apparently another compatible one if it actually compiles). The only place you
can look is the reference list.

It is normally OK to run A97 with other Office and even other Access.
