Application Launch Failure Message

I am receiving this message when I open any of the applications from
office. I had trouble with Excel not working last night, so I
restarted my computer. From then on, I'm getting the error message.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The application "Remove Office" could not be launched because of a
shared library error: "<RemoveOffice><RemoveOffice><CarbonLib><>"

The shared library error is indicating files used by both the OS and
Entourage have problems.

First try downloading the combo updater from Apple and run it again rather
than using Software Update. Doing so overwrites potentially problem-causing
files. Use "Remove Office" and re-install and update Office. If this does
not work, you will need to do an Archive & Install of the OS.
