Application Menu--File Option Disappeared!

You can first try going to the Tools menu to get to the Customize Menus &
Toolbars dialog - exact wording & choices vary with version which you fail
to mention. Once there go to the Toolbars page, click the name of the Menu
Bar, then click Reset. If that doesn't fix it or if the fix doesn't hold
come back for further suggestions.

Help! On the Main Excel Application Menu my "File" Menu option is gone???!
