Hi,
We are using the property Application.Tasks in Word 2003 to try and find
all the open instances of Excel, so we can display them as a list for the
user to pick from when importing tables and charts. When the user selects
one of the instances, we use Task.Activate() to give focus to the open Excel
window.
This works fine, except in the case of one system (IBM T43 Thinkpad, WinXP
SP2, Word 2003 SP1), where for one instance of Excel open, there are 16 tasks
reported by Word.
Any suggestions or comments would be appreciated.
