I recently developed an application in Excel that uses checkboxes, the ones
from the Control Toolbox (Activex components). I developed it in Excel 2000
(my work computer) and did some development at home in Excel 2007. The app
worked fine in both places.
Recently, my work computer was upgraded to Excel 2003 and now the app bombs
out. The code crashes when I try to set the checkbox.name property. It
shows that there is no such property for the control. I have checked the
properties in the watch window and the property is simply missing.
Was this a bug in 2003? Is there a workaround? Any advice?
Let me know if you need more information to ponder any advice you may give
and I will be happy to provide it. Thanks
