Hi,
I have this problem on multiple systems having different configurations
and running Outlook 2007. The Application_Startup event doesn't *always*
fire. I couldn't find any pattern until now. However, it seems that most
often, the event fails to fire when I launch Outlook very early after
logging in when the system is still busily launching other programs or
services.
This is not a security or antivirus problem because half of the time,
without changing anything to my system, the event fires normally. If it
didn't fire, if I close Outlook and then re-launch it, the event will
fire and my code will execute normally. Also, if the event didn't fire,
opening the VBA editor (Alt-F11), moving the caret to a location inside
the Application_Startup handler and hitting F5 causes the event to be
fired. Then the code also executes normally.
Any clue?
Thanks in advance.
