apply filter on subform

Is it possible to apply a filter on a subform?

I have a subform that is linking on company ID. It shows
section and employees in that company. I would like to
apply a filter for section. Does anyone know how to do
this?

I tried to applyfilter to the form but kept getting
compile errors and gave up.
