Apply theme?

When I try to apply a theme it appears to work in my system when I preview
it. After I upload it (http or ftp) the theme has disappeared. A view source
indicates that the theme information is lost. It happens with a site with
Frontpage extensions or without.

I know I must be doing something wrong, but what?
System: Win XP Pro, Front Page 2003. The host is a Goddy.com site.

Don't use ftp if you are using http, ftp will break the fp extensions. Have
the host repair the extensions and do a publish via http after.

btw, the pic of the dog is way too big (500K) you should optimize that down
to abt 15k.

It becomes more interesting...
When I build a one page website with the menus and include the theme it
works to a FTP site,
http://home.earthlink.net/~johnferrell/TestSite/tp1.htm

When I load the same to the site with FrontPage extensions it fails.
http://dixienc.us/TestSite/tp1.htm

I both cases, the directory TestSite is considered to be a website in my
space.

I don't think I can afford the themes anyway. The test file (tp1.htm) is 451
bytes which bloats up to 500K when using the theme feature.

It is a curious puzzle but the overhead has killed my interest. It kind of
reminds me of the compiler that includes unused code from the library in the
executable. I will go back to my primitive methods!
