ApplyFilter Property of Report ("Invalid Variable" Error)

Hello,

When I try to use ApplyFiler property on a report to
filter the data according to a text exceeding 126(?)
characters, the property does not work and gives an
error "Invalid Character". However for the text that does
not exceed 126(?) characters the property works very well.

Anyone to help me to deal with the problem..
