Applying a different style to a pre existing documents

Hi.

I would like to change the Normal style to Arial 10 on pre
existing word documents - roughly 200.

Any ideas on how?

If all docs were created using the same template. You
should be able to open the template, and modify the normal
style.

Many thanks for this but it didn't work. We changed the
normal template and the normal style & saved. Then opened
an existing doc and the font didn't change.
Any ideas why?

You would have to reattach the template with "Automatically update document
styles" enabled. You might want to try a batch macro instead. It would be
along the lines of the one found at
