Applying existing template crashes PPT

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel

OK, another wierd issue.

When applying an existing .pot (my clients) Office 2008 crashes. Never had this issue with V.X.

TIA for any suggestions.
