Applying Filter on the OWC pivottable data

Hi,

I am trying to filter an "abc" person in hierarchy and would like to have
that filtered applied/effective in the pivottable irrespective of whether
that dimension in dropped or not in any of the pivottable areas.

I am setting that filter as soon as I connect to the cube. The filter is
effective only when I drop that particualar dimension on any of the pivot
table areas and is ineffective if it is removed from the area.

Any help in this regard will be appreciated.
