Hello all, we've applied KB895395 to our environment to allow us to set the
ForceOSTPath reg key. However a side effect has been that on some PC's the
patch has removed the ability to create PST files.
When you go to File | New | Outlook Data File, the Types of Storage list is
empty.
We use Office 2003 SP1 on XPP SP1. We do not have the DisablePST reg key
configured or present on the affected PC's. Out of curiosity I created it on
one PC and set it to 0 but this didn't help either.
This appears to be an issue with this patch, have found a few references to
it on the net, has anyone come up with a solution? Would really appreciate
any advice that can be given.
