Applying Office XP SP3

I'm trying to install office xp sp3 to a group of users.
I get prompt for the cd. How can i create an installation
so that it won't prompt for the cd. Is there a registry
key that can be change to point to the source of the CD?

Thanks

Hi, russell,

I'm assuming that your installations were all done by CD originally.

Try using the full file patch, which may not require the original CD. It's
available and described here:

Office XP Service Pack 3 (SP3):
http://www.microsoft.com/office/ork/updates/xp/Oxpsp3a.htm

To change the location of the source, it's recommended you remove and
re-install from the new CD location. If you're going to do this, you might
consider using an administrative installation point on a server.

297834 - You receive an "Error 1706. Setup cannot find the required files"
error message when you repair or install a feature in Office:
