Applying styles via keyboard

Hi folks,
Need some sage advice here. I've created a template for multiple client
use (user base both Mac and PC) and have set it up with style aliases
(stylename,xxx).

Control-Shift-S (to access style menu) and typing the alias to apply a
style works just peachy in Word X and Word 98 for Mac and in Word 2000
for PC but I've got a lady on Office 2003 who says that this alias
shortcut is not working for her. I don't have Word 2003 (or XP) on the
PC so cannot verify what is going on. I've done a number of searches
but haven't turned up anything of real use (I guess this is a bit of an
obscure topic). Has this feature been eliminated on the PC platform? If
so, is there a replacement?

Thanks for any advice you an give!

It works for me in Word2003.

Have her press

Alt-Ctrl-F8 -- Customize
Choose Keyboard
Under Categories select Format
Under Commands select FormatStyle
If Current Key is not Ctrl-Shift-S have her assign that combo to
FormatStyle.

Huh! OK, I'm surprised here...... Any of you on XP have similar
feedback?????? does the stylename, xxx alias work for you all??????
Thanks for insights,
JD

(Sorry for the reliance on word-of-keyboard, but really can't afford
yet to upgrade on the PC platform)
