For the last few years I have set outlook to start on startup, then "Try" to remember not to turn off the window while I am working on the computer, for both my home & work outlook.. But, I can't help thinking there MUST be something that can notifiy me of my appointments while outlook is not up.. Something that can be put in the task bar to automatically montor this..
Really what is the point of setting an appointment to remind you at 2:30 pm to be at a meeting, if it will not notify you of that meeting because you are not running MS office at that time..?? I have read & reread for this feature on each upgrade, (and I have been thru quite a few.. My first word was on a computer with no hard drive, & you switched floppy disks for the feature you needed..) But, never do I see any word about this feature.. Yet other competitor office products have it and it is really a basic needed feature for any office scheduling notifier...
