Is there any way through any model or tool (Outlook Object Model,
Exchange Extension, Mapi, Redemption, etc...) to either change the
organizer of an appointment OR for a copy of an appointment to
maintain its original organizer.
For example:
2 users, User1 and User2.
User2 is set up as a delegate of User1.
User2 accesses User1's calendar via shared calendars. User2 creates
an appointment (AppointmentX) in User1's calendar. Because of the
delegate system, AppointmentX will have User1 as its Organizer.
User2 accesses AppointmentX in User1's shared calendar and
programatically makes a copy of AppointmentX placing the copy into a
public folder. The copy of AppointmentX which is in the public folder
now has User2 as its Organizer.
In the above scenario we would like the copy of AppointmentX to have
User1 as its Organizer instead of User2. Is there a way to accomplish
this?
Thank you
