Appointment Sent From Outside our Network

I have a customer who received an appointment from an outside company and it
placed itself on the OWA calendar but not the Outlook Fat client. Does anyone
know whay this might happen? Is it a fluke or a feature?

Sounds like the Outlook client didn't synchronize properly.
