Appointments bypass the inbox

I have a user that when they get appointments they go directly to the
Calendar, they never show up in the inbox so he can open them and click
accept or decline.

I've verified that there are no rules in place and that the Options/Calendar
Options/Resource Scheduling is NOT enabled.

I've also had the user log into another PC and sent him an appointment
there, the same thing happens.

Any thoughts on what else to look for/troubleshoot?

OK the answer is:

While the users Resource Scheduling was not set he did have a delegate setup
within that area of Outlook and that person was getting the actual emails for
the appointments. After removing the delegate the person now gets the emails
for their appointment.s
