when i go to 5 day view all appointments show, i click
inbox and then back to 5 day view and then a random amount
of the appointments disappear. I can do this multiple
times and get random results (all 30 appointments show up,
5 appointments show up, 10 appointments show up).

I go to view > curent view > customize current view
and it shows Start in the start field and End in the end
field. I change the settings to be incorrect, click apply,
then go back in and change the settings to start and end
again click apply again and go to my 5 day view and
everything is fine.

I click on the inbox again and then back to 5 day view and
everything is messed up again. (random appointments show.)

thank you in advance for your help.

Have you tried using the ".../CleanViews" switch. The
link below will give you the instructions on how to use it.

NOTE: This will wipe out any special views that you have
created in Outlook and restore them to the original settings.
