I recently loaded Outlook 2007, and then I noticed all my appointments from
Septemer 1 back are gone. I followed your instructions to disable
autoarchive (thank you!) so hopefully that won't happen in the future, but is
there a way to recover the calendar info from the past? It's devastating to
have lost all that info (business and personal).
I do have past years' info in Palm Desktop, but I can't figure out how to
export that into Outlook. I would still have a several month period that is
lost, but at least I could get the older info into Outlook. Can you help me
with that process?
Thanks! Julie

do i do this by clicking the top button that says "do not archive items in
this folder"?

Right click the Calendar folder, select properties then the Auto-archive
tab. Set your archive interval to what you want or none. I have mine
set
to none.

After furious head scratching, jlm asked:
| it appears that old appointments (other than recurring entries) drop
| off after about 7 mos. is there any way to keep old appointments on
| the calendar indefinitely? once in a while i need to look back to
| see what week i left town last summer or some such thing, and the
| entries are gone. thanks!
