Here's a puzzle: We're using Project Server 2007 with MOSS. I created a
template for projects in Project Professional. When a project manager uses
the template, saves the work plan as a project and uses the tasks already
listed here's what happens:
The first resource assigned to any pre-existing task will have me as the
approval manager.
Any additional resource assigned to that same task gets the project manager
as the approval manager.
If the project manager deletes pre-existing tasks and enters his own tasks,
the resources get the project manager as the approval manager.
We aren't using timesheets and all users are set as their own timesheet
manager and default assignment owner.
We want the project manager to be the approval manager. Did I miss a step
when I created the template?
