Approving time sheets in managed periods

We recently moved to managed periods. Now I have a question about the
following situation:

1. Resource enters and submits time while managed period is open
2. Period is closed by the PMO
2. Manager wants to approve time sheet after period has been closed

What will happen in that situation?

In the future, please post your Project Server questions in the
microsoft.public.project.server newsgroup, as this newsgroup is dedicated to
the Microsoft Project desktop application only. To answer your question,
the PM can approve the hours from the closed time period, but the team
members cannot enter or change any numbers in the closed time period. Hope
this helps.
