Apps from the office shorcut bar load slow

Just loaded service pack 4 and a few other MS patches in
critical updates and now applications load very slow when
launching from the MS Office Shortcut bar. The apps load
just fine from a desktop shortcut or through the start
menu.

Anybody else experiencing the same problem???
