Appt. Time Incorrect

G

GTifeld

Here's one I haven't seen addressed yet. One of my co-workers schedules
appts./group meetings on Outlook 2003 for a specific time. However, each time
she does this, it always seems to schedule itself for one hour LATER than the
time she sets. Her PC clock is accurate, and her time zone settings indicate
the correct zone and "DST" enabled. This started a few weeks ago when the
clocks changed.

We are on a network. Is this controlled by the server? Or is there something
else we can check for? Thanks in advance.

See http://www.microsoft.com/windows/timezone.mspx for help on this. It may
be that the new DST dates were updated in one place and not another.

Here what worked for me. I had the same problem. My company has a copy of MS
Outlook 2003 on a shared/network drive to use as a universal calendar.
(E-mail is disabled.) I was the only one in my company who had all-day events
stretching out to two days instead of one, and when I opened the appointments
in the calendar they would not be all-day events and were listed as 1 a.m. to
1 a.m. the following day. Since I was the only one with the problem -- and
microsoft confirmed that I had the latest DST patch already installed when I
tried to download it -- I theorized that either all of my co-workers had to
download the patch and the patch had to be applied to the MS Outlook on the
server, or I had to disable DST.

I simply disabled DST. (Right click time in lower right corner of windows,
Adjusted clock, etc.)

It worked.
