Arabic Access

Inexplicably last night I tried creating a table in
access from an existing file. Much to my surprise all of
my text was in Arabic. AsIwas typing the text was in
Arabic!!! I'm anAmerican and need English!. Has anyone
had this problem before???

Could be some corruptions. A few times I got Chinese as Field values and
Repair and Compact seems to fix them all.
