No Office for Mac programs support RTL. If you need that capability I'm
afraid you'll have to look to other software. I'd suggest you use Help> Send
Feedback to contribute your comments to the MS database that tracks such
information. If demand is high enough it may be included in a future
version.

Let me try this one more time :) There is nothing you can do to Mac Office
to enable support for Right-To-Left languages - it just doesn't exist. If
you need Arabic you'll have to look to other software. I understand that
Mellel is a popular word processing program that supports RTL but I can't
help more since I have never had to use software for any of those languages.
I'd suggest Google to find the type of software you need, tehn investigate
your findings further to determine whether it supports RTL as well as how
it's rated.

The simple answer is you can't! Office for Mac 2008 does not support right
to left text.

Hi
I also have this issue I cannot write in Arabic in my new Mac because of Microsoft Office for Mac.
Thanks.

Neo Office is free, downloadable, and manages Arabic text like Office SHOULD. You can open office documents and save documents as Office (.doc or .xls) formats. It's a bit of a bother to have to use two different interfaces, but it works well.

Sorry, but no, Mac Office has never supported RTL. Win Office has offered
RTL for quite some time.
