Arabic Support

SHEEBOU

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) Processor: Intel I just got my Office 2008 For Mac and when I tried to type in Arabic it seems that this version doesn't support Arabic script.
Is there any way to handle this problem?

Thank you

My understanding is that Word 2008 does not have the capability. See
Google search for "arabic mac word 2008" where this discussed in
numerous articles.

Other products, including Windows Word 2007 (as I understand) do.

Try Mellel or Windows Word, or other application that does support RTL
script.

Mac Office does not.

Sorry about that.

Yes, they should, and they know that. The Microsoft folks at Mac BU keep
saying they want to do it. But as Rob says, it's an investment decision.

Use Help>Send Feedback to add your voice of support to the people who want
it, and you will get it sooner...

Cheers

It's so sad to hear that and MS should do something to fix this issue..
