Are you drawing the arc with the curve line drawing tool? When you say the other
side, are you trying a 3D look?
If you use the curve drawing tool it will fill from the first point to the last
point.
I was using the arc from basic shapes. I just tried the curve tool and the
same thing happens. The fill color fills what I would call the inside of the
curve (or arc). I need it to fill the outside.
You will have to close the arc for the color to fill the outside. You might try
using a fat line weight, it could give you the look you want. Draw a small
circle for the ends so the arc doesn't look flat.
