Running Windows XP Pro and Office 2007 with all upgrades. I have 2 Outlook
"archive" files that keep getting bigger and I don't know why. I have all my
2007 emails in "Archive2007.pst" and all my 2008 emails in "Archive2008.pst".
Both of these files are stagnant in that I do not add or remove any items
from them. They have both been added to Outlook as Data Files, so I can
access them, but I never do. Both files keep getting bigger in bigger and I
don't understand why. If I compact them, they will return to the size they
"should" be, but over the days and weeks will get bigger and bigger until I
compact them again. I'm running the "Windows Search" on these files and they
are indexed. I suspect this is the issue, but I really have no way of
knowing.
