If you're talking about messages archived using the AutoArchive feature,
you will need to check two places to see where the messages are ending
up:
1) First, check the global AutoArchive settings in Tools | Options |
Other | AutoArchive. Note the location of the archive file in the "Move
old items to:" box. (This assumes you haven't selected the "Permanently
delete old items" option.)
2) Next, check the AutoArchive settings for the particular folder
you're interested in. Right-click the folder, choose Properties, then
the AutoArchive tab. These settings override the global archive
settings for this folder only, so if the path to the archive file is
different here, that's where the messages in this folder go. If you
have it set to use the global settings for that folder, the old messages
are going to the archive file designated in the global settings.
