Archive mail problem

Pls help,
When i click archive e-mail, outlook don't take any action to archive mail.
Do you have ideas?

After enabling the global auto-archive function, did you then go to each
folder to enable auto-archiving under its properties? Auto-archiving
takes 2 steps: enable the global option (to turn it on for any folder
that has it enabled) and to enable it for the folder (since you may not
want to archive them all).

Be sure to set the global archive period (days) to equal or less than
the shortest time you set for any folder for its archive period. If the
global archive interval were, say, 10 days and you set a folder's
archive interval to 2 days, it would still take until the 10-day
interval before archiving gets performed.
