Archive problems

Larry Wahlers

Hello,

While trying to archive, I got these errors:

Error while archiving folder "Sent Items" in store "Mailbox - Larry
Wahlers". Path does not exist. Make sure the path is correct.

Error while archiving folder "Calendar" in store "Mailbox - Larry
Wahlers". Path does not exist. Make sure the path is correct.

Error while archiving folder "Tasks" in store "Mailbox - Larry
Wahlers". Path does not exist. Make sure the path is correct.

Yet, it is clear that I have an Exchange 5.5 mailbox "Mailbox - Larry
Wahlers" and that I have Calendar, Tasks, Sent Items, etc. folders
directly under that top level.

How do I fix this?

Many thanks.

Oops. Forgot to mention I'm using Outlook 2003, cached mode, connected
to an Exchange 5.5 box.

Does your archive file exist? Have you scanned it for errors with
scanpst.exe? Do you still have enough diskspace on the drive where the
archive file resides? Is the pst-file still smallen then 2GB? Does it also
happen when you start of with a clean pst-file?

So, I think you have quite a few things to verify now ;-)

All of the above are "yes." Even starting off with a clean pst file,
still the same errors.

Ack! I figured it out. Dumb mistake. I have a new laptop, but had the
old settings in the individual archive page for each folder set to a
path that didn't exist.

Thanks for the help - it got me pointed in the right direction.
