I removed and reinstalled Outlook 07 on my XP machine because o
problems I encountered when I renamed a backup file right afte
upgrading from 03 version. I pulled my archive.pst file to my deskto
from the backup location before the reinstall. I then deleted m
backups except the one on my desktop.

When I reinstalled Outlook and opened it my personal folders with al
my emails and sub folders was there but the archive folder is not liste
in the tree. How can I pull the Archive.pst file from my desktop bac
into Outlook so that future archives will addend to it and backup when

How can I pull the Archive.pst file from my desktop back
into Outlook so that future archives will addend to it and backup when I
backup my personal folders using MS Backup?

I would not leave the archive PST on the desktop. Rather, I'd move it to,
say, "My Documents\Outlook Archives". Then I'd start Outlook and click
Tools>Options>Other>AutoArchive and change the value of the "Move old items
to" field to be that Archive PST. After doing so, stop and restart Outlook.
