Archiving Default Settings

We are taking some baby steps to archive Outlook. I want to set a limit of
12 months for archiving. I tested this setting on one user and it followed
the archive settings for the folder and not this default setting.

What would be the proper way to insure that archiving occurs on items older
than 12 months?

Aloha dsfseattle,

You'd need to have the default settings applied to all the subfolders. Depending
upon your version of Outlook there should be a button for this in Tools |
Options | Other | AutoArchive.
