I send and receive a large quantity of email related to my work and I often
send and receive large attachments. My email message database has grown
to 2 gigabytes in 8 months. Now, as at other times in the past, outlook has
stoped working and I need to move the messages and database file and let
outlook start a new one. But then I'm left without being able to refer to old
email. Doesn't outlook or entourage allow you to archive portions of past
email say from 2 months ago back to the beginning. I tried deleting old
messages but it didn't change the size of the messages file. My computer
actually says it can't send email now because the volume is full. There is
plenty of room on the harddrive so I assume it is the outlook messages file
that is maxed. One time somebody suggested saving email one at a time,
but I have too many to do that.
Thanks,
