We've been using Project 2003 since March 2005. I used the method described
in the post by Reid McTaggart on 6/8/05 to archive old project, but it didn't
work for me. First I created a new category (called Archived Projects).
Then, I associated this category with all groups that have permission to open
projects in Project Pro. For each of these groups, I set the Open Project
permission to Deny for the Archived Project category. Finally, I added all
"archived" projects to this Archived Projects category.
When I opened Project Pro using the login of one of the member in this
group, I was still able to see and open those archived projects.
Please show me the correct way to do this (archive but not delete projects).
Thanks,
