I am trying to “clean up†Outlook (version 2002) and reduce the size of my
Outlook.pst file. Sometimes, but not all of the time, when I archive the
archived files appear in my Folder List. My questions:
1. When you archive, aren’t the files supposed to be put into a separate
archive file thus reducing the Outlook.pst file
2. Why ARE the archive files put into the Folder list and how do prevent it?
3. Is there an article anywhere where this issue is addressed / discussed
clearly? I find archiving to be archaic and confusing. Is it just me?
