Archiving projects in MSPS 2003

Hi

We have many old project plans in MSPS 2003. Since these still show up in
all reports, views, etc., we want to archive them. I thought we could save
the project plans in local and delete them from Admin in PWA, but I was
wondering if there is any ways to archive properly,
Could anyone please help me?
