Archiving Projects

Hi,
I am trying to locate documentation on how the Archiving functionality in
Project Server 2007 works. Is anyone out there using this funciton? How does
it work and how do you manage it?

The UI in PWA for using the Archive Database is more like a nightly backup.
But using the PSI you can control the archiving of project better. For
instance you can set the retensionpolicy on a project to "Unlimited
retention. Archive the project and do not check for retention delete" thus
making it a true archive but this does require the writing of code to do this.

Thanks Ray.
So out of the box archiving is just Adminstrative Backup with no controls. A
true misnomer indeed.
