I try to archive many of "My Document" files (older ones),
such as Excel, WORD, PowerPoint, Acrobat, PhotoEditor and
Project, this is to gain space on my notebook. Can you
help? Thank you.

Have a blessed day, Horst

Thank you for reply. My Window's version is MS ME. Version
4.90.3000, build 3000. Does this help you for giving me
further dierections how to archive documents and files
from MS Office XP?

Since I skipped that particular OS, I can only advise to look on the
Accessories folder from the Start->programs->accessories->system tools. If
it is included, it will be there. You can select the folders that you want
to include in the backup.

You will also find better information on a group dedicated to your operating
system for Windows utilities, of which Backup is one.

|| You can use Microsoft Backup for this purpose. Outlook will only
|| archive Outlook files. I was mistaken in what you were asking.
||
|| Depending on your version of windows, you will find it under System
|| Tools on the Accessories menu.
||
|| Post back your exact version of Windows and someone can give you the
|| exact location.
