arcsoft photostudio psf files into word

i recently scanned some pages from a recipe book from my canon scanner using
the photostudio 5 software by arcsoft i think. I zoomed in and edited the
images using this program before cutting and pasting various recipes straight
from this into word 2003. I did this a number of times with about 10 to 15
recipes that i wanted to email my mum! The problem is that the word file is
apparantley a massive 200mb and i cant do anything with it. It doesnt even
firt onto my plugin memory stick or my floppy disk and cant be emailed to my
mum with hotmail as i wanted to add a few other attachments synchronised
together in the same email and they will just be far too big. I tried
changing the psf files into word documents but it didnt work. Now i have
transferred the images onto word is there any way of turning them into jpeg
format to make them easier to handle/email. I have tried zipping the document
and changing it into rich text format but it just seems to get bigger! i dont
want to have to go through all the scanning process again. What can be
done?!!! am i an idiot?!!! should i save them in other formats such as xml?
will that work ? I havent a clue what that is by the way, I know some stuff
but only some! I have tried saving it as an html document thinking that it
could just be saved as a web page and that would save file space but it didnt
display. Im rambling now so will stop but if anyone has any idea what im on
about please help!!!!! thanks very much. crisp london
