I would like to create an application that makes use of a lot of PIM
functionality. So, Outlook is a natural candidate as a base for such
an application. My data model contains several parent-child
relationships; for example, Task and subtasks. I have only started
examining the Outlook and MAPI APIs and references. I am assuming the
various types will end up being various MAPI message classes.
Does Outlook and MAPI support the notion of contained objects. It
seems as if all folders in Outlook can only contain a collection of
single--non-aggregated--objects, whether they are Contacts, Tasks,
Messages, or what not.
Is there a solution for this problem?
