Are there any Excel manuals in PDF out there?

I am brand new to Excel and could use a printable version of the
manual. If anyone could direct me to a site where I could print out a
PDF, I would greatly appriciate it.

The Help system is not designed for, and has grown far too big for, a
single PDF.

There are a number of books published about XL. Most of them are
targeted at WinXL, but they're usually about 90% cross-compatible.

John Walkenbach is my favorite XL author - I find his writing accessible
and accurate. I'd recommend you take a look at his Excel 2000 Bible or
Excel 2000 Formulas:

The later versions have some added features, but they're primarily for
changes in WinXL.

Hi,

When you install Office a file called "Getting Started Book.pdf" is put onto
your computer's drive inside the Microsoft Office X folder.

It sounds like just the thing you are looking for.
