Are there no InfoPath MVPs?

Has anyone noticed that a large percentage of the questions in this Newgroup
go unanswered? I have asked twice in the past few days how to implement
numbered paragraph headings and no one answers.

There are a small number of InfoPath MVPs, about 4 acitve ones.
Unfortunately, being a very new product, there aren't a lot of people that
are knowledgable enough to become InfoPath MVPs. The process to become an
MVP is at http://www.mvps.org/about/mvp.html.

Sorry your question didn't get answered, I'll see what I can do. Although
any unanswered question isn't great, the InfoPath newsgroup has nearly
identical response rates to the other developer-oriented newsgroups.

Keith,

All MVPs are volunteers. Each has his/her own time commitments and
helps out on the newsgroups as (always limited) time is available.

As Brian pointed out there is a limited number of MVPs, only 6
globally for InfoPath, of which only 4 are English language MVPs, of
which 3 have ever posted on this newsgroup.

Greg gets the gold star this year with ~700 posts, then I have ~300
(but I have a similar number on the OneNote newsgroup, which is how I
split my time last year too).

And, I decided to volunteer my time in writing the Developing Solutions with
InfoPath book. ;-) Having said that, I think Matthew Blain (one of my
coauthors) deserves to be MVP just based on number of posts. He must be
ahead of you Andrew. I plan to spend more time posting now that the book is
out.

Cheers!
Patrick

Hey Andrew,
Thanks for showing me how to quantify my contribution (or lack thereof) via
Google! Looks like Matthew and I are neck and neck. But you and Greg are in
a different league. :)
Cheers!
